Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.

Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union. She is the Resident Teacher at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Center, the mother center of our tradition, and teaches extensively internationally. Gen-la studied and practiced for many years with her Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and is his close disciple. She is deeply respected and treasured throughout the Kadampa world for her sincere reliance on her Spiritual Guide, taking his teachings to heart and putting them into practice in every aspect of her life. She is recognised as a fully qualified Teacher of Sutra and Tantra, and in particular is qualified to bestow the blessings of the Highest Yoga Tantra practices of Heruka and Vajrayogini.

Gen Kelsang Rabten

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the Resident Teacher of KMC Australia (Dandenong Ranges) and KMC Melbourne (CBD). Ordained in 1994, he has studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 30 years. He has taught in many centres around the world including Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.

Gen Rabten exemplifies the essence of the modern Kadampa way of life, brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha’s teachings and the practice of meditation.

Kelsang Tara.

Kelsang Tara is a fully ordained Australian Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth.

Tara has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years, and ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2015. Tara’s inspiring teachings reflect her sincere wish to help those in need and to share her experience of Buddha’s life-changing instructions with others.
