The Teachers

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is a retired General Spiritual Director of
the NKT-IKBU and National Spiritual Director of Canada. He has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over thirty-five years and is currently the Resident Teacher at KMC Canada. Gen-la Khyenrab is an internationally renowned teacher and English Buddhist monk who is greatly admired for his powerful teachings as well as his pure example of humility and loving-kindness. Gen-la Khyenrab will grant the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and give the teachings at the Australian Festival.

 

 

Gen Kelsang Dornying is the Resident Teacher of both Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia and Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma in Australia for over 14 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.

Gen Dornying will give the introduction and guide the retreat at the Australian Festival.

 

 

Gen Kelsang Ani is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth. She has been studying and practising Modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Gen Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.

Gen Ani will guide the morning meditations at the Australian Festival.
